You know the old Christmas song, "Christmas is coming, the Goose is getting fat....."
Well, this is how the song should go now that it is December 26th: "Christmas is over, the Goose is very slim....." LOL
I saved, I splurged (a little), and am now spent. Time to start all over again for next year!
How did you do with your Christmas spending?
A.Marie
We cut down this year and so the bills won't be rolling in on January 1st. Whew! But that darn tuition bill will be coming in February....ack!
ReplyDeleteAck is right!!! UGH!
ReplyDeleteWe actually did really good!
ReplyDeleteYeah, Michelle!!! :)
ReplyDeleteWe were being extremely frugal and had gotten practically nothing for our immediate family until we both got Christmas bonuses from work just a couple weeks ago. WHEW! JUST in time! We went a little hogwild since then, but should be toning it down soon...
ReplyDeleteMcVal....Yay for Christmas bonuses!!! YES! I bet that did make a big difference....isn't so nice when businesses do that?
ReplyDeleteTightened our belts and bought Christmas gifts throughout the year :-) Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteUnder $200! No malls. Almost all shopping was done online. Great focus on the Lord instead of the commercialism.
ReplyDeleteA.Marie,
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment today. You helped me feel a little less lonely. Yes, I know this is way down in March, but I just wanted to say I like your blog.
